American Rococo Revival Walnut and Marble-Top Center Table
third quarter 19th century, probably Philadelphia or Baltimore, the insert tortoise-form breccia marble top in a guilloche-carved frame over a conforming apron, elaborately mounted with floral, leaf, shell and scroll carving, raised on cabriole legs with shell, leaf and swag carving, joined by serpentine stretchers centered by a carved finial.
