This detailed sheet exhibits a map of the West Indies/Antilles, Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico in its central panel, with a number of more detailed local plans and views above and below. The Isthmus of Panama is detailed in the top left. The top right panel contains a plan of St Augustine, Florida, the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement and port in the continental United States. Bottom left is the Mexican port of Veracruz. Bottom centre is a birds eye view of Mexico City, and bottom right a plan of the city of Santo Domingo (now in the Dominican Republic)
