Description
The Bristol was a large side wheel steamer launched in 1866 by William H. Webb of New York for the Merchants Steamship Company. It was referred to as a floating palace because of the luxurious accommodations for up to 1200 passengers. This large and impressive print was produced by Endicott and Co, and is also marked Drawn on stone by CR Parsons. Has staining and edge wear, but displays wonderfully. 40" by 27 1/2". Very Good
