JOHN HART. Signer of the Declaration of Independence from New Jersey.
Fr. NJ-177. Colony of New Jersey. March 25, 1776. Three Shillings. Plate A. Signed by “John Hart.” Gem Crisp Uncirculated. This beautiful 1776 Revolutionary War note is printed in vivid red and black upon bright, fresh clean period paper. The centering on both the face and back is perfect, having excellent even margins on all sides. The crisp paper retains some original press text embossing, while all three signatures, including “John Hart” are in rich brown. A superior, gorgeous Gem CU example, with the historic 1776 date being signed “John Hart.”
