Pre-Columbian, Peru, Inca, ca. 1400-1600 CE. This large, arrow-shaped, copper war axe is finely carved and incised with pyramidal motifs perhaps representing the Andes and spiral motifs likely representing ocean waves. It boasts an impressive weight and has developed a beautiful patina over the ages. 6-1/4"L x 3-1/2"W

Slight loss at tip emerging from left of arrow base, no repairs or cracks, surface wear from age, nice patina. Excellent to near choice.
