Description
Created in Italy during the mid-century modernist periods, back in the 1960. This brooch has been crafted with twisted wires made up in solid yellow Gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Designed as a seated musician playing a banjo. It is embellished with application of red and green glass enamels and three natural earth mined calibrated blue sapphires. Sapphires: Mounted in bezel settings, with 3 round faceted cut blue sapphires with 0.06 carats. Weight: 7.80 Grams, (5.02 Dwt). Measurements: 32 mm by 17 mm by 8 mm (1.26 x 0.67 x 0.32 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the Gold and signed, "HIME 18KT".
