Latin America, Mexico, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A fantastic pair of wooden festival masks each exhibiting an exaggeratedly long nose, a jutting moustache, and a pair of curved, tiered horns surmounted by colorful ribbons. A fun pair of vintage examples! Size (both about the same): 7.3" L x 10.1" W x 8" H (18.5 cm x 25.7 cm x 20.3 cm)

Condition
Both have a few minor stable fissures to wood; only one of which visible on front and the others on versos. Otherwise, both are intact and excellent with great pigments, detail, and light patina throughout. Suspension wire for display on verso of each.
