A c.1960s Otwin Super Electric archtop guitar in a metallic gold finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist.

This flashy Otwin Super electric comes from Randy’s impressive collection of archtop guitars. Made in Germany. A sunburst 9-piece maple neck, a bound 21-fret rosewood fretboard with “stripe” inlays, multi-layer binding on the gold-finished body, bound f-holes, adjustable rosewood bridge with mute, distinctive tailpiece. Three pickguard-mounted pickups with three volume controls, plus pickup selector switch.

According to Randy, “This came from a guy in the Maritimes who was in Germany and bought it when he was a kid. His father was in the Canadian armed forces of Germany and brought back this guitar.”
