A 1960s Hoyer Mandolin sunburst finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist. From Randy’s extensive collection of German-made archtop instruments, collected over a period of 30-plus years.
This Hoyer Mandolin has a maple guitar-shaped body, uncommon for the type of instrument. Arched top, maple back and sides, bound 20-fret rosewood fretboard with pearloid block inlays, a red pearloid headstock overlay with eight tuners and a white nut with zero fret. Adjustable rosewood bridge, nickel tailpiece.
Includes chipboard case.
