A 1950s archtop guitar adorned with mother of pearl and finished in red sunburst finish. Owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist.

While there’s no label or any other kind of visible markings which indicate the maker, save for a Roger-branded tailpiece. However, this guitar looks like the work of Herbert Todt given the beautiful mother of pearl inlay work, mother of pearl headstock veneer, and the shape of the sound holes cut into the top. It’s very similar to another instrument in this collection, the Todt-made acoustic with and even more complicated headstock. It also resembles the other Todts and Todt-built Migma guitars we have. That said, the carve of the top is reminiscent of Roger, however we can only speculate as to who actually made it.

A maple neck with a headstock face covered in mother of pearl squares, a laminated white and black string guide nut with zero fret, and a multi-ply bound 20 fret rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl inlays. A carved spruce top, maple back, and maple sides finished in red burst, with black purfling on the top with mother of pearl inlays and multi-ply binding throughout. An adjustable rosewood bridge, Roger-branded tailpiece, and a mother of pearl pickguard that matches the headstock perfectly.
