A late Victorian dining suite in the manner of R J Horner, circa 1890, the white wash oak suite with a split pedestal dining table having a single leaf above the split pedestal base with highly carved lion form medallions continuing to the paw feet, the central pedestal with a flaring base terminating on the acanthus border, 29"h x 71"w (extended) x 60"d, together with six high back chairs having a reticulated back centered with a figural medallion continuing to the needlepoint seats consisting of four side chairs 51"h, and two armchairs, each having carved dog form arms, and rising on carved block and turned legs, 54"h
