A painter active in the New York Abstract Expressionist movement and also working in Provincetown, Massachusetts from 1956 to 1965, Angelo Ippolito was born in St. Arsenio, Italy. He studied at Ozenfan School of Fine Arts in New York, at the Brooklyn Museum Art School with John Ferren, and at the Meschini Institute in Rome, Italy.
