Description
Western Asia, probably made in Khorassan, east Persia (Iran) / west Afghanistan, Seljuq (Saljuq / Seljuk) period, ca. 12th to 13th century CE. A lovely ceramic bowl enveloped in pale blue green glaze with black underpainting of a cross at the center and an undulating band around the periphery. The shallow basin is additionally adorned by a relief floral design while scattered iridescence shimmers across the vessel's surface. Size: 5.9" L x 5.75" W x 1.4" H (15 cm x 14.6 cm x 3.6 cm)
