The canvas is lined. Light frame rubbing to the extreme edges. A pinpoint loss to the dark red flower in the upper right quadrant, and another minute loss to the right of the center pink flower within the dark red pigment. There are two small, historic repairs (measuring .75 in) to the upper center of the composition. Light, hairline craquelure appears within the pink flower. Examination under Ultra-Violet light reveals: three areas of retouching within the red cloth in the lower left corner, and two areas of retouching to the light pink pigment of the background, located directly above the pink flower.
