Description
George Lucas' "Star Wars" saga was a global phenomenon when originally released, but it wasn't until 1990 that the world's favourite space opera was released in Russia. There are four styles of Russian Star Wars movie posters, each with a 'head' theme, this being the Advance design, affectionately referred to as the "Puma Head" with art by Igor Majstrovsky. Very much a favourite among Star Wars collectors. All of the Russian posters are much harder to find than virtually any of the U.S. or other international posters because they were printed in such limited quantities and have been awarded the highest rarity rating by the industry bible for Star Wars posters...Stephen Sansweet's aptly named "Star Wars Poster Book".
