A pair of large symmetrical antique Japanese Meiji period enamel over brass vases. Each vase has an amphora shaped body and a narrow neck. Each vase is enameled with a polychrome image of a bird in blossoming flowers and trees made in the Cloisonne technique on cobalt blue ground. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century
