20th century, probably Limoges, Napoleon in his bicorne hat and Josephine in her crown, with jewels around her neck, the bases with gilt imperial eagles in each corner, supporting swags of molded laurel leaves, the interior with spurious "M. Imp. le de Sevres" marks.
h. 17", w. 9", d. 7-1/2" and h. 18", w. 9-1/2", d. 7", respectively

Condition

Vibrant lot in as-is estate condition. Napoleon bust with glued break to corner base. Josephine bust with repaired break on central jewel of crown, and a repaired break on ruffled lace tip.
