Description
Housed in a criss-cross style carved folk art frame with old wavy glass in place.
Watercolors on paper. Circa 1860-1880.
Unsigned but with a note in pencil on the back of a partial envelope from a former owner that reads: "Am sure grandma received this picture from a school teacher. He made the picture and frame." The envelope is postmarked 1941 from Denver, Colorado and addressed to a couple in Lafayette, Indiana.
