NOTES / REFERENCES : Craftsman Studios was based in Seattle, Washington. The pottery produced Arts & Crafts revival pieces designed and made by Dean Hudgins during the late 1980s to the early 2000s. He sold his works through a Craftsman - Mission mail order catalog and from his Seattle studio, as well as at West Coast shows like the Arts & Crafts Bungalow Fair and the San Francisco Arts & Crafts Fair. His designs captured the essence of the Arts & Crafts movement using his own interpretations and a variety of glazes, forms and motifs. Every piece was a unique, hand-crafted work of art. Craftsman Studios has closed and Dean Hudgins is no longer producing pottery. Pieces by this artist are rare and sought after.
