Description
An Edwardian guilloché enamel and rose cut diamond locket pendant and chain, c.1910, of circular form, the blue guilloché enamel front with central rose cut diamond floral motif, encircled by gilded scrolls and a rose cut diamond surround, in unmarked gold. The reverse with engine turned engraving. Inscribed to interior 'Muriel, with her father's fond love, 25th August 1910'. 29mm diameter. Suspended by a twist rope chain with tube clasp, tested as 9ct gold. Fitted case by Arthur Pitson, 179 New Bond Street, London. 16.05g Condition Report: Enamel showing a few tiny pits to surface. Visible by 10x magnification. Very slight discolouration to the enamel centre. Visible by 10x magnification. Locket secures nicely. Clasp secures.
