Homer was born on March 13, 1920 and passed away on Monday, January 19, 2009. Homer was a resident of Vashon, Washington.Homer Spurlock was a talented mid-century painter whose subjects centered around bohemians, musicians, and beautiful female nudes. Spurlock was once a student at Otis Art Institute where he rescued from demolition trash the personal photography collection of a long-deceased artist model Antonio Corsi. Homer eventually gave the collection to his son, who in turn sold it to an archivist who put it in the hands of filmmaker Jake Gorst who in 2017 will release a full-length documentary on the life of Antonio Corsi.
