Description
Antique Japanese Kannon Biraki Tansu Chests On Black Lacquer Stand (3 Piece Set) One tansu has two drawers, with a larger bottom drawer. The second is a cabinet with four drawers of varying sizes.
Condition
No keys and the latch release button on the cabinet door is very stiff. Wear and distressing consistent with age and use, with areas of fading and discoloring to the finish, including a large dark spot on the right tansus top and a light spot on the upper drawer of the left tansu. There is some additional damage to one of the doors on the right side tansu.
