(Disney, 1946) The Old King Cole Papier Maché Company in Canton, Ohio decorated America's stores and store windows by the thousands throughout the first half of the 20th Century. They held the license to make Disney displays from 1932 to 1942. This relief statue of Pluto measuring 16.5" x 11" is molded in what Old King Cole called Laminite, an exclusive, durable papier maché. The piece is in very good condition with cracks throughout, and repaired breaks to the green section below Pluto's back foot and to the left of Pluto's name.
