The porcelain potted in garlic bottle vase, bulbous lower belly, thick, cylindrical neck, with shrink on the neck middle to enlarge onion head shape, round mouth rim, raised on short small round. Warm and uniform bean celadon glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Celadon is a type of green-glazed Chinese and were among the finest of a range of celadon wares produced in China, and led stylistic and technical developments. The celadons were produced in a range of shades of colour, centred on olive-green, but extending to greenish blues and browns. Green in Chinese culture, green stands for cleanliness and purity from contamination.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine rings.
