It was located on Central Avenue alone the Miami Erie Canal in Cincinnati. The Companys soaps and candles would be loaded on to canal boats, and carried down to the Ohio River for shipment by steamboat to distant markets. In the winter, ice was harvested from the frozen Canal and saved for use in the manufacturing process. Serving dish measures approx 16 inches long 13 inches deep.
