American black walnut, bitterbrush
32.25 h x 54 w x 21 d in (82 x 137 x 53 cm)
During his internment at Minidoka Relocation Center during World War II, the artist collected bitterbrush shrub which he used in various furniture designs there and after his relocation to the east coast in 1943.
Cabinet features a drop-down door concealing media components and record storage. Sold with a letter of authenticity from Mira Nakashima.
