Percy Albee (1883-1959) brought his family to Paris in the late 1920's to study lithography while his wife Grace mastered wood engraving.Here are two fine examples of Albee's figurative mastery of the Paris neighborhood chicanery in the 1930's. Percy Albee was a student of both the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the Rhode Island School of Design. In Paris, Percy traveled to picturesque villages to sketch and work up his lithographs.
