Description
An antique Russian Art Nouveau style set of twelve gilt silver and enamel demitasse spoons by Feodor Ruckert, retailed by Kkhlebnikov, Moscow. Circa: 1908 to 1918. The reverse surface is embellished with polychrome floral and scrollwork patterns made in the Cloisonne technique on the olive green ground. The stem of the spoons features a rope twist style ornamentation and is enameled in the same technique. Marked with a Silver standard hallmark and other Cyrillic and Assay marks. Presented in an original presentation box, the interior is stamped in French, I. Khlebnikoff and Fils, Orfevres, Moscow, the exterior stamped with a gilt monogram, S.H. Weight 265 grams.
