A nice period frame with double-sided glass and document is signed by William Sprague Governor of R.I. A photocopy of Capt. Kenyon appointment letter dated January, 8th, 1863 is included with this lot. Original Letter was lost. Measures 16" x 11" overall with frame. Condition: Heavy foxing with stains throughout and an opposite seal mark to right side.
