28" x 34". Framed oil painting on canvas by landscape artist Ceslovas Janušas (Lithuanian, 1907 -1993). Depicts a snowy low-light winter landscape with a pond surrounded by frosted trees under a pastel yellow sky. Signed on the lower right, ?. Janušas. Stamp on verso of canvas for Würzburg, Team 169, C JANUSAS. This painting would benefit from some restoration, as there is an approximately 1.5" length puncture to the upper left side of the canvas and a second similarly sized puncture in the lower left side. There are also a few places of craquelure in some of the thicker areas of paint. Other wear includes some scuffs, marks, and scratches to the frame.
