Description
Robert "Bob" White (b.1939) - Tullytown, PA c. 1970's - - Racy working hollow carved wood duck. Heavily influenced by other river carvers the body is relatively simple with pointed wing tips coming together over a slightly downward sloped tail. The neck is thin and the elongated crest is dramatic and sculpted well. The decoy saw use in the Calcese rig and bears two brass tags ontop of the applied lead pad weight. Condition: Very good and original with light working wear and a slight spot of paint separation on the left shoulder. Small paint rub on the right side of the head and the tip of the crest has been slightly chipped.
